Responsibilities in practice

The seven club officers

Each role has a distinct focus, but important decisions and member support cross portfolio boundaries.

President

Provides overall leadership, facilitates the officer team, and helps the club pursue its mission and success plan.

Vice President Education

Coordinates the education program, meeting assignments, member progress, and recognition.

Vice President Membership

Supports guests, applications, onboarding, engagement, and membership-building efforts.

Vice President Public Relations

Builds awareness of the club and communicates its value through approved channels and brand practices.

Secretary

Maintains records, minutes, officer lists, and the club’s administrative continuity.

Treasurer

Manages the club budget, dues, payments, and financial reporting under current policy.

Sergeant at Arms

Supports meeting logistics, club property, venue readiness, and a welcoming environment.
