Important Update: New Payment Process in China

Toastmasters International has established a new compliance entity in China: "头马识途". All clubs in China must now follow the new temporary process for membership dues payment and member submission. Please review the RMB renewal guide below for detailed instructions.

RMB Membership Renewal Guide

Complete step-by-step instructions for processing membership dues through the new payment system in China

Starting from September 23, 2025, all Toastmasters clubs in China must use the new payment process through the designated portal. This guide provides detailed instructions for completing membership renewals using WeChat Pay, Alipay, or UnionPay.

Four-Step Renewal Process

Download the Excel File

Get the latest membership roster template from the official link. The template is periodically updated, so always download the current version.

Note: Excel template can be found at the red circle mark on the official resources page.

Fill in the File

Complete all required member information including:

  • Club name and number (CB-XXXXXXXXX format)
  • Payment confirmation numbers (WeChat/Alipay transaction IDs)
  • Member type, start month, and dues amount
  • Complete member details for new/reinstated members

Important: Signature must be from a current club officer (except IPP) using their TI-registered English name.

Make Payment

Use the designated portal to pay via:

  • WeChat Pay
  • Alipay
  • UnionPay

Fee Structure:

  • New member fee: ¥200
  • Six months: ¥450
  • Monthly: ¥75

Calculate dues based on membership start month and duration.

Send Email for Processing

Email the following to membersupport@toastmasters.cn.com:

  • Completed membership roster (Excel)
  • Payment screenshot/confirmation
  • VAT invoice information (if required)

Email requirements: Must be sent from a club officer's TI-registered email address. CC: d85toastmasters@gmail.com and 395244981@qq.com.

Monitor your email for processing updates or requests for additional information.

Important Notes

  • Transition Period: Expect processing delays during the transition. Base Camp access may be temporarily affected.
  • Brand Materials: Clubs may begin using the new "Tou Ma Shi Tu" brand materials.
  • Support: Contact your Area Director, Division Director, or TRIO for assistance with the renewal process.
  • Email Monitoring: After submission, regularly check your email for updates or requests for additional information from TI.
